Following the postponement of tomorrow’s Declan O’Rourke show to Saturday July 6th …

Peter Doran – Free show tomorrow night – for those still in the musical mood:

The show must go on… same date, same room, same vibe, a different cast.

We figured it would be a shame for the room to be left silent and empty tomorrow so we’re going to put on a free show for anyone still in the musical mood. This will be completely separate to Declan’s show and just in the spirit of making music happen. So if your heart was set on some original live acoustic music in the folk tradition you’re all more than welcome to come down and experience just that.

Oldtown Co-founder Peter Doran will play an original set accompanied by Nicky Brennan on electric guitar. Peter was in the studio all of last week working on his fifth album and has plenty of new songs to sing. Nicky is literally just off the plane from the United States where he spent the last month on tour with Picture This. Nicky will also play a rare set of his original tunes that he’s been working on for the last year or so.

We’ll see if we can get a couple more interesting and delightful acts on board too when we’re at it!
